Age 102, of Waipahu, HI, passed away Oct. 31, 2016 in Pearl City. He was born Dec. 28, 1913 in Waipahu. He retired from the Ewa Plantation and Oahu Sugar Co. He is survived by wife, Elaine Sawa; son, Stanley (Dreanna) Sawa; daughter, Sandra (Joseph) Fabry; and 2 grandchildren. Visitation 8:30 a.m., Saturday (Dec. 10) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Memorial service 9:30 a.m. Inurnment 10:30 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
