Setsue "Sue" Abe, 86, of Hilo, died on Dec. 2, 2016 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Koloa, Kauai, she taught at Waikiki Elementary School, retired from Keaau Elementary School, and was a member of the Hawaii Education Association. Private services. She is survived by daughter, Alison (Earl) Inouye; sisters, Sumiko Robinson, Hifumi (Harry) Sato, Tsukiko (Clarence) Andrade; brothers, Kenji Yasaka, Hoshiichi "Butch" (Carol) Yasaka; grandchildren, Elise Inouye, Austin Inouye; numerous nieces and nephews.
