James “Jimmy” “Toku” Tokuhara
71, of Honolulu, passed away on Monday December 5, 2016. Born in Kaunakakai, Molokai. Graduate of McKinley High School. Avid swimmer and hiker. Served in the US Army. Worked in construction on Kwajalein. Youngest of four children born to the late Masayo Oshiro and the late Isamu Tokuhara. His siblings are Larry Kenichi Tokuhara (Patricia) Kauai; Jane Mitsue Yagi (Stanley); and Harry Kenji Tokuhara (Sandy). He was a devoted and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews Tammy Yagi-Barrett; Randin Yagi (Pamela); Larry Tokuhara, Jr.; Kevin Tokuhara; Reid Tokuhara (Stacia); Lee Ann Tokuhara and Jerard Yagi (Rumi). He especially enjoyed his grandnieces and grand- nephews Travis Barrett; Ryan Barrett; Jayson Tokuhara; Christian Yagi; Colleen Barrett; Shawn Barrett; Abigail Yagi and Markus Yagi. Services: 10:00 am on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at O'ahu Cemetery Chapel and Inurnment at 1:00 pm at The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. No flowers. Casual attire.
