96, of Kaneohe, passed away on December 18, 2016, at his home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired storeroom clerk for the U.S. Department of the Army, Quartermaster Division and a WWII veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary and daughter, Dana, he is survived by his daughter, Dorothy Sakamoto; sons, Richard (Julie) Jr., Clyde and Leslie (Leatrice); eight grandchildren, eight great- grandchilden, five great-great- grandchildren; brothers, George (Florence), James (Nona) and Bobby (Linda); sisters, Dorothy (Herbert) Pang, Grace Evans, Helen Yonamine and Betty (William) Higa.
