78, of San Francisco, formerly of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2016. She was born in Honolulu, and was a secondary education teacher in Hawaii, Japan and Germany, and a college and children's librarian in Hawaii. Predeceased by husband, Edward, and survived by son, Kevin and brother, George Sakomoto. Memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, February 4 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary; inurnment at 10:45 a.m. at Nuuanu Memorial Park. Casual attire.
