ALFRED COSTA, COACH AL 83, of Kailua, Hawaii passed away at home February 1, 2017. He was born September 23, 1933 in Honolulu. Graduated St. Louis College 1952. He served with HPD, then on to the State of Hawaii as the Executive Secretary for the Contractors' Licensing Board and retired as the Complaints and Enforcement Officer for RICO. What he loved most was coaching basketball, St Louis, Sacred Hearts Academy, Kalaheo & Radford High Schools. He was predeceased by daughter Karen, survived by wife Sylvia, daughters Kim (Earl) Shook, Karla (Kelo) Maosi, Kathleen (Ron) Colville, sister Gail Silva, 9 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. Retired Hawaii Supreme Court Justice, 70, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Judy; sons Jonathan and Bradley, brothers Quintin Ramil, Jr., (Teresita), Lindo Ramil (Filipina), Cesar Ramil (Anita), and Michael Ramil, and sisters Norma Matro (Carlos) and Gloria Omania (Louis).
