Of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 97 on January 13, 2017. Born on the island of Kauai, she was a retired homemaker, mother, and grandmother extraordinaire. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Yoshito, she is survived by her daughters: Marilyn, Sharon (Myron) Oie, and Carole (Paul) Fujishige; grandsons, Jonathan Oie and Colin Fujishige; nieces and nephews. Private services were held and donations to a favorite charity are suggested (in lieu of monetary offerings).
