98, of Aiea, Hawaii passed, peacefully, on January 27, 2017. She was born in Kapaa, Kauai. She was a retired employee of Kress Store and a member of Aiea Hongwanji Mission. Everyone will remember her pleasant personality and beautiful smile. Preceded in death by her husband Joe, she is survived by son, Dennis (Sharyn) Sekine, daughter Susan (Martin) Schmick, grandchildren Jason (Lena) Sekine, Michelle Sekine, Kristina (Nathan) Christopher, Melissa (Ruben) Chung, great-grandchildren RJ Chung, Mina Chung, Maya Sekine, Jaxon Sekine and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Visitation at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services at 11:00 am with inurnment at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at 2:00 pm.
