89, of Pearl City, Hawaii died on January 18, 2017. He retired as a Supervisor in 1987 from Hawaiian Telephone Co. after 30 years of service. He was also a long-time high school and college baseball umpire and football referee. He was proud to serve University of Hawaii baseball coach, Les Murakami, as Commissioner of Umpires for almost a decade. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Winona 'Pearl' in 2013. He is survived by four daughters, three sons, fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation 9:30am; Mass: 11:00am Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Pearl City.
