79, passed away surrounded by her family on February 8, 2017. Patsy was born in Paia, Maui. She worked as a secretary for the Personnel Development and Training Division of the Dept. of Civil Service, City and County of Honolulu. She is survived by her husband Alfred K. Kouchi; daughter Joanne (Scott Young) Kouchi and son Jerold (Lori) Kouchi; grand- children Gabby Young (12), Jack (10) and Lindsey (8) Kouchi; siblings Eleanor (James) Arakaki, Glen (Gail) Sakagawa, Wayne (Susan) Sakagawa; many nieces and nephews and also by her beloved dog Marley. After retiring Patsy loved to travel with her husband to Las Vegas, California and Japan. She also spent time making flower arrangements for her family's flower shop, Service Grocery, during holidays and special occasions. Her last years were devoted to caring for her husband Alfred at home managing his care and cooking him healthy meals. Patsy was tireless, busy running errands and shopping while also finding time to have lunch dates with her sister and former City and County coworkers. Her pretty smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who were touched by her. Private services were held at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Arrangements Provided By: HOSOI GARDEN MORTUARY
