FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

MARK ALLAN SWEGLER
MARK ALLAN SWEGLER 63, of Kaneohe, Hawaii peacefully passed away at home on the morning of March 16. He was born Feb. 14, 1954 on Guam. At age 14, Mark was a rancher; then in 1972 trained as a master baker at Crown Bakery, Guam, with international master baker Albert Malinowski. He later opened Crown's sister bakery in Medford, Oregon and was the last baker-owner of Ken's Bakery, Waimanalo, Hawaii. Mark was a gifted propagator of orchids, anthuriums, cacao and coffee; a member of Windward Orchid Society and Unified Mark is survived by his mother, Rose Chun Swegler; sisters; Delle "Dee" Swegler (Mark) Nadler and Moana Swegler (Alvin) Luka; uncle, Franklin S.H. (Norma) Chun; aunt, Angie Seegler; numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Delbert L. Swegler; sister Haulani and brothers Morton, Marshall, Morris Leal and Jon Lorin Chun. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30am, April 4 at Oahu Cemetery Chapel, 2162 Nuuanu Ave., Honolulu.
