95, of Honolulu passed away on March 19, 2017 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Lahaina, Maui. He served in the US Army in Italy and France during World War II. Dad was a retired painter from the Federal Government, Public Work Center for 30 years and also a member of Aza Gushikawa Doshi Kai. Preceded in death by son, Nelson. Survived by wife Janet Tomoyo; daughters, Annette (Thomas) Miyashiro and Sharon (Steven) Yoshiyama, four grand- children and eight great grand- children; sister, Fumiko Shimabuku. Visitation 5 pm on Thursday, (April 13) at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services will be held at 6 pm. No flowers. Casual attire. Arrangements Provided By: HOSOI GARDEN MORTUARY
