Age 103, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away 4/02/2017. He was born on 1/05/1914 in Abra, Luzon, Philippines and was a retired Pearl Harbor sandblaster. Survived by sons, Melvin (Denise), Clifford (Brenda), Gilbert (Alana) Abero; daughters, Michelle (Gary) Quisano, Charlene (Glen) Alvarez; stepson, Ben (Lori) Pias; daughter- in-law, Lucia Abero; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren. Visitation 5:30-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, 5/02/2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; wake service 6:30 p.m. Second visitation from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the mortuary on Wednesday 5/03/2017; service 10:30 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
