67, of Kaneohe, retired building inspector for the Department of Education, passed on April 15, 2017. A graduate of UH School of Architecture, he was a loving and devoted husband, fly fisher, Boy Scout leader, marathon runner, former lifeguard, life member of Trout Unlimited and board member of Unity Windward. Survived by his wife, Marilyn Nagel; children, Marc, "Kitty" (Curtis) Priddy, Ryan (Maria), David; grandchildren, Kai, Olivia and Wyatt; brothers Lance (Patty) and Wilton "Fuzz" (Anya), nieces and a nephew; and former wife, Helene Hagen. Wayne willed his remains to UH JAB School of Medicine. A Celebration of Life is yet to be announced. Donations may be made to Trout Unlimited, Hospice Hawaii or Unity Windward.
