FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Pilson (“Young”) Miller
Pilson (Pilson ("Young") Miller, formerly Cho, passed peacefully at home on April 22, 2017. She was 75 years old. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Miller, her two daughters Nanny and Evelyn, and her four grand- children Ashley, Annette, Olivia, and Penelope. Mrs. Miller was born in Korea, and moved to Honolulu forty years ago. She was married to Bernard, a retired printer and former Coast Guard, for the past sixteen years. Together they were proudly employed by the federal government over the last ten years. They enjoyed cultivating land for gardening, and especially spending family vacations with the grandchildren. Mrs. Miller will be remembered for her strength, determination, and humor. To her daughters she instilled a sense of self-reliance and devotion to family. She had the gift of a sharp wit and easy conversation. She treasured children, delighting in the American traditions of Egg Hunts and Trick-or-Treat. She remained active and vigorous until the past year when she succumbed to illness. She was much loved and will be deeply missed. The family wishes to thank Dr. Marissa Nguyen; Ms. Lourdes Vergara Marcelo and her caregivers; and St. Francis Hospice, for their compassion. Arrangements: Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
