Age 94, of Mililani, HI, passed away February 16, 2017 in Mililani. Born July 9, 1922 in Ookala, HI. A U.S. Army WWII veteran who served with the 442nd K Company. He retired from the Del Monte Kunia and Molokai Plantations. He is survived by son, Vern (Cyndy) Sakaida; daughters, Joanne (Rick) Kilcup, Shelly Hung; brother, Manabu Sakaida; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grand- daughter. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 10) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; memorial service 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers, please.
