Daniel “Dano” Kehekili Kekahuna

Daniel 60 of Molokai passed away on April 1, 2017. He was born in San Diego, Ca. October 31, 1956. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army, was also highly skilled as a computer tech and net-working. Also enjoyed his time working as a surf instructor in Waikiki. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Kalama Kekahuna and brother Michael Ioane Kekahuna. Survived by his sons, Jason K. Kekahuna of CA. and Jeremy K.Kekahuna of Idaho, grandson Maxxon I. Kekahuna of CA., his mother Agnes E. Souza Kekahuna of CA., his brothers Paul K. Kekahuna (Kathy), David K. Kekahuna (Diane), Joseph K. Kekahuna and Damien K. Kekahuna all of CA. His sisters, Paula Leilani Wakinekona (Kalanui) of VI., Darlene H. Burgess (Stuart), of Mt. View, HI., Mary Christine Jacino (Bob) of CA., Zelena K.Smith (Glen) of Santa Maria,Ca., and Rosalie K. Kekahuna of CA. Nieces and nephews 27 and 22 great. Also by his dearest friends Sally Wise of Molokai and Barbara Heimrich of Honolulu. Celebration of Life" and Scattering of Ashes assisted by Faith Surfing School on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 8:00 am ocean side of Duke's Restaurant.
