93 of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017. He was a retired owner of Aloha Plumbing Company, and a proud veteran who served his country being affiliated with the Military Intelligence Service (MIS). He enjoyed his retirement years teaching and singing karaoke with the Palolo Hongwanji Karaoke Club, and being surrounded by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He was well loved and respected by all who knew him. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Doris. Survived by son, Dennis (Kanani) Kihara; daughters, Karen (Leroy) Hayashida, Renee (Glenn) Yamada; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Kihara. Please join us in the celebration of his life on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Visitation 2pm, service to follow at 3pm. No flowers. Casual attire.
