Violet Infante Ayers, age 92, succumbed to heart failure on May 12, 2017. She was born in Honolulu and married Jack L. Ayers, Sr., a Marine veteran from Elkins, West Virginia. She retired from Camp Smith (USMC) after over 30 years as a household goods counselor. A lifelong devout Catholic she was most recently very active as a member of the Third Order of Mary, Legion of Mary, and several other prayer and volunteer groups at Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by sons Patrick H. (Aupuni) Ayers of Kailua, Oahu and Jack L. (Elsie) Ayers, Jr. of Las Vegas, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Viewing will be at 10:00 am June 2, 2017 at Borthwick Mauka Chapel, 1330 Maunakea Street with prayer service in the Chapel. Lunch reception to follow. No flowers please.
