JACOB P. KALEIKINI JR. JAKE Jacob Piiakanoa Kaleikini Jr., 78, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2017. He was born January 10, 1939. Jacob loved to entertain with his guitar & ukulele, singing Hawaiian songs. He played at the Elks Lodge, Lunalilo Home & with Roosevelt Halau '47. Jacob was a Kamehameha Schools graduate, Class of 1957, & retired as an HFD Assistant Fire Chief in 1997 after 33 years of service. Jacob is survived by his wife, Gwen, children Jacob III (Jean), Justina "Tina" (Seamus) Murphy, Janice (Michael, deceased) Steward, Janet (Jonathan) Jale, Joanne "Bozo" (Richard) Vierra; siblings James Young, Violet Hawkins, Hope Kaleikini, Alex Hurst; 19 grand & 19 great- grandchildren, cousins, nieces & nephews who loved him very much. Services on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Oahu Cemetery Chapel, 2162 Nuuanu Ave. Visitation 3:00pm, Services 4:00pm. Private scattering of ashes.
