105 of Honolulu passed peacefully in her sleep during the night of May 17, 2017 at Hale Nani Rehab and Nursing Center. Predeceased in death by her husband Harry Suzuki, she is survived by her son Glenn Suzuki, daughters Laraine Taira and Joyce Tobara (Ernest), sister Lorene Hasegawa, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was employed most of her life at American Sanitary Laundry as a bookkeeper. Growing up the eldest in a household of 5 brothers and 3 sisters and existing on basic needs, her time, energy, and limited resources were given generously to help others in need. As a faith-based person, she lived each day with harmony, gratefulness, and compassion and treated each day as a gift and as a blessing. As she transitioned to the heavens beyond, she looked forward to eternity with hope and optimism. Private memorial services were held at Oahu Cemetery.
