97 of Waipahu, born 6/26/19 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, passed away on 5/28/17. Veteran of WWII, Korean War & Vietnam War; A Prisoner of War and a Survivor of the Bataan Death March. Recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, POW Medal, Combat Medical Badge and other distinguished awards for his years of service. Survived by wife of 74 years Maura. Children: Remy, Erlinda (Dorian), Tais (Jim), Caje (Tim), Arthur (Kathy), & Rosemarie (Bob). Grandchildren: Darren, Eric, Asian, Dorian, Jade, Jordan, Laurasia, Kiara, Nicole, Troy and Matthew. Great grandchildren: Rhys-Michael, Ezekiel, Maile & Chloe. Brother: Arturo. Preceded in death by children: George, Angelito, Guillermo Jr & Lourdes. Services will be held at St Joseph Church on June 22, Thursday, 9:00 a.m. visitation, 1000 mass. Interment ceremony will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl on June 26 at 10:30.
