81, of Kailua, passed away on June 2, 2017. He graduated from Iolani and was a retired Chief Master Sergeant for the Hawaii Air National Guard. Coach "O" dedicated 55 yrs mentoring and coaching youth from Kailua American LL Baseball, Kailua H.S. Softball, Hawaii Loa College and HPU Softball. He is survived by wife Nina Okita; daughters Renee Kiyabu, Donna Okita and Wanda Okita; grandchildren (6); great-grand- children (5); sister Sheila Murakami; brothers Denis Okita and Lew Morris. Private burial will be held. Celebration of Life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Hawaii Pacific University Kaneohe campus. Visitation 11:30am. Services 12:30pm.
