Gertrude Mieko Wagner, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Pearl City, Hawaii. She went peacefully with her last breath on earth and her first breath in heaven to be with Jesus Christ. Her contagious laugh, enthusiasm and energy will always be remembered while spending time with her 3 boys and 5 grandchildren. She loved to dance and sing, especially to her grandchildren. Her home cooked meals were always a hit. Her sons will always remember their Mom pitching batting practice to them with a tape ball in the backyard before baseball games. She was born on February 1, 1933 in Pepeekeo, Hawaii and graduated in 1951 from Hilo High School. She was the youngest of 10 children, including 6 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael Wagner, 3 sons, Peter Wagner (Colette), Jordan Wagner (Gayle) and Pastor Jon Wagner (Vera). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Sean Wagner, Jacob Wagner, Shaun Oliquiano, Jewels Oliquiano and Logan Wagner. Also survived by her sister, Florence Ah Sing (Hilo, Hawaii) Memorial Service will be at Mililani Mortuary, Makai Chapel on Saturday, July 8, 2017 @ 5:00 p.m. for visitation and 6:00 p.m. service.
