Mutsuko "Boots" Higashi, 95, of Honokaa and formerly of Honolulu died June 26 at her residence. Born in Ahualoa, Honokaa, she was a retired accounting supervisor for RCA Global Communications and a former volunteer at the Kuakini Medical Center of Oahu. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday (July 18, 2017) at the Honokaa Hongwanji Mission; memorial service at 11. Casual attire. Survived by sister, Itsue Hino of Ahualoa, the late Sueko Higashi of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Shigeko Higashi of Hilo; numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
