Randy Fernandez, passed away surrounded by family on June 15, 2017. He joyfully joined his daughter Hala on her birthday and grandson Makana. He was one of the original founders of Lokahi Canoe Club, and their first head coach. He loved paddling, the ocean, his children, and Pi'i. Survivors are daughters Dorothy (Kehau), Leila; sons Lokahi and Makena; eight grand- children. Private services will be held and a scattering of ashes at Kaimana.
