Robert F Buckheit Jr passed away July 5, 2017 in Crowley, TX after a long illness. He was born in Honolulu HI May 9, 1942 to Robert Buckheit Sr & Florence "Dolly" DeCambra Buckheit. He worked for & retired from the Honolulu police department in 1993 as a Sergeant of the department. His dedication to serve the public was his passion. He provided the same dedication to his family & friends who knew him well. He was kind, gentle, loving - with a big heart and a love of life & travel. After retirement, he moved to the Dallas Texas area. He lived out his retirement building models & traveling to see family & friends throughout the US. He is preceded in death by both parents, daughter Carrie-Ann Coleman, sister Stephanie Hall and brother John P Buckheit. He is survived by son Richard Buckheit & wife Gwyn of CA, granddaughters Kaiulani Buckheit & Malia Buckheit, son Brian Buckheit of HI, daughter Laura Clark & husband Joe of PA, grandchildren Megan Clark, Samantha Clark & Derek Clark of PA, as well as son in law Michael Coleman of TX. He will be laid to rest at Mililani Mortuary with a Private Family memorial at a later date.
