95, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2017. She was born on August 4, 1922 in Honohina on the Big Island of Hawaii. Helen worked as a stenographer at the State Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, grand- mother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teruo Yoshida, brother, James Hirata and his wife, Bertha, and brother in law, Hisami Fujita. She is survived by her daughter Colleen (Richard) Smith, and three sons: Stephen (Lorrine) Yoshida, Ronald (Dona) Yoshida, and Dean (Glory) Yoshida; Nine Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; sisters: Chieko Fujita, Mildred (Charles) Nakamura; and brother: Minoru (Margaret) Hirata.
