KIRK ELLIOTT KALANIKUHONUA NAHALEOn Friday, September 1, 2017, Kirk peacefully passed away at the age of 55. Kirk was a graduate of Saint Louis High School's class of 1980. Kirk was employed by KITV as a television technician for over 20 years. But holding one job wasn't enough for Kirk, he also worked for Costco, having been one of the first employees of the Salt Lake location. In 1993, Kirk along with his brother and brother in law, decided to go into the restaurant business and opened Kanak Attack. In 2000, Kirk had the opportunity to branch out on his own and opened Kanak Attack Two with his wife. After working at KITV for over 20 years, health issues forced Kirk into early retirement. Throughout his illness, Kirk kept a positive attitude, and no matter how he really felt, always replied "top shape" when asked how he was. Kirk will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, his generous heart and his crazy sense of humor. Kirk will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him. Survived by his wife Dian; son Blaine; fur babies Aki, Yuki, and Bella; brothers Keith, Jeffrey (Cyn), Guy (Patty); and sister Donni Rae (Ronald). Services to be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Diamond Head Memorial. Visitation 5PM - 6:30PM, services at 6:30PM. Kirk will be laid to rest at Diamond Head Memorial on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:30AM.

Paul Phillip Wallrabenstein, Jr.December 19, 1940 - September 16, 2017
Age 76, passed away on September 16, 2017. He attended Maryknoll High School, earned a BS in Civil Engineering at University of Hawaii-Manoa, and served in the US Army as a Lieutenant. He also served as the Vice President of Belt Collins Engineering. He was a man of the highest degree of integrity and was honorably discharged in 1965 as a second lieutenant in the United States Army. Paul was a superb father who was dedicated to his spouse, children, extended family, and friends. He contributed much of his personal time to coaching little league baseball spanning over 40 years in Manoa Valley. His love for his family and leadership by example are a testament to the man he was. Those who had the honor of knowing him learned to love and respect their families by following the way he lived his life.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Terry) Wallrabenstein; sons, Paul Wallrabenstein III (Lisa) and William Wallrabenstein (Renee); daughter, LiAnn Choy (Milton); foster children, Toni Amaranto and Eric Tanaka; sister, MaryElda Burlison; nieces, Trisha and Kathy Burlison; grandchildren, Paul IV and Tyra Wallrabenstein, Jarret, Brett, Lacie, and Kash Choy, Christina and Alyssa Johnston, Robert and Christina Amaranto and great-grand children.
A special thank you to our friends at Hale Nohea, Islands Hospice, and the staff at Straub Hospital.
Goodbye to you, our loving husband, Dad, Grampa, Great Grampa, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Rest in peace.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Nu'uanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Service to follow at 6 p.m. Casual attire requested. Burial services will be held at Punchbowl Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 3 p.m. No flowers.

Arthur Lee Watkins, Sr. ARTHUR LEE WATKINS, SR. Arthur Lee Watkins, Sr. died June 23, 2017 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 76. He was born July 20, 1940 in Texas and grew up in Texas, Arkansas and California before settling in Hawai'i after serving in the US Army when he met Sumiko Kurisu the mother of his four children and five stepchildren. Arthur worked at the US Postal Services where he retired in 1999. Arthur loved Hawai'i and longed to return. Arthur was always there to help anyone and a generous man towards his family and friends. Arthur Lee Watkins, Sr. is survived by his wife, Betty, daughters, LeeAnn (Ray) Langley and Vernie Flores, sons, Arthur Jr. (Michelle) and Elwyn, stepchildren, Gail Miyamoto, Scott (Diane) Fujinaga, Wendy Fujinaga, BruceAl (Christine) Fujinaga, Karen (Ralph) Meyer, sister Martha (John) Rudolph of Texas, 13 grand- children, 4 greatgrandchildren. Services were held in St. Louis, MO on July 20, 2017.
