1918 - 2017 Age 98, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2017 in Pearl City, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 2, 1918 in Waipahu to Imata and Rakuyo Yamamoto, the eldest of eight children. She retired from Dole Corporation and Nishi Catering. She loved to cook, sew, and travel with the family. She will always be remembered for her loving smile and genuine care for others. Preceded in death by her husband, Tadayoshi. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Joanne), Albert, Raymond; grandsons, Scott, Grant; brothers George Yamamoto (Asako), Walter Yamamoto (Cathleen), and sister Alice Sakuma.
