Cameron, David "Stubby", 59, passed away October 30th. Stub grew up in Tampa, Florida, but Hawaii was his home since 1982. Stubby is survived by his brothers, Chuck and his wife Debbie, Kevin and his wife Linda, and sister, Gayle; nephews and nieces, Mandi, Christopher, Matthew and Victoria; and great- nephews Christian and Jayden; and his extended Hawaiian family of many true friends. Josephine Hatico Cuawas 87 years young when she went on to bigger and better things on Oct. 18, 2017. "Josie" or "Peping", was born on the 25th day of February, 1930 and was a graduate of Farrington High School. In 1952 she married her now late husband, Jose "Joe" Cua. They had four children: Jennifer, Joseph, Jocelyn and Jacquelyn, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is survived by one brother, Anthony Hatico. Brothers, George, Christopher, Jose, and Don Hatico, and her sister, Dolores Albeso, have all gone before her. A celebration of Josephine's life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Mililani Mortuary Downtown. Visitation is scheduled for 5:30pm; service begins at 6:30pm. Burial will be at Punchbowl Cemetery the following morning at 10:30am.

DEAN  FOSTERDean Barker Foster was born in British Columbia on November 13 1936. Dean spent his early years in Vancouver, Canada, although he later became an American Citizen. He was a successful business man who traveled across the United States starting in the 1970s for his firm Black Forest Imports. He lived then in Hollywood, and later was, for a time, the Mayor of Running Springs, California. He retired in 2006. He loved Hawaii, having moved here in 1985, and made Honolulu his lasting home. Although he had traveled the world, he often said "Hawaii is where my heart is." In recent years, he had been a member of Sukyo Mahikari, the Spiritual Practice of the Art of True Light. He passed away at home in Kalihi on the morning of September 13, 2017. We love and miss you Dean!

He was the owner of Honolulu Equipment Company (Kenworth Dealership, State of Hawaii for 17 years), owned and managed the real estate holding company, Robert F. Greenwell Company, LP. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. November 18, 2017 at Christ Church Episcopal in Kealakekua, Hawaii; reception will follow. Richard "Dickie" Kwai Duck Hong resided in Kailua and passed away October 5th 2017. Born January 21, 1940 to Sun and Choi Dai Muy Hong. He attended Lanakila Elementary School, Kawananakoa Intermediate, St. Louis HS, Sacramento JC, and Univ. of Hawaii (earning a masters in accounting). Began working at an early age at the Oahu Fish Market and pineapple cannery. After college worked as an auditor, accountant, CPA, then eventually became owner and president of Rosenberg and Hong CPA's. Avid University of Hawaii sports fan and booster. Coached and supported youth athletic leagues in Kailua. He was a professional tailgater and potlucker with expertise on the BBQ. He is and will be dearly missed. Married to Lan Q.G. Hong. Father to Jennifer Milne, Kevin Hong and Neil Hong. Grandfather to Huxley Milne. Retired from Servco Toyota where he served for 28 years, Reggie, also known as "Porge", spent his time cooking, raising and showing Shiba Inus, watching K-dramas, and traveling to Las Vegas. Lila KawananakoaLila Kawanananakoa, 92 years old, peacefully passed away Saturday, Nov 4th, at her home in Ajijic Mexico. Lila is survived by her sons Edward Kawanananakoa Jr., David Kawananakoa, his wife, Maria Kawananakoa and her grandson Erik Linstrom. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Kawananakoa and her parents, Clarence Whitaker & Mary Lillian De Clark. Lila enjoyed many things, but traveling the world brought her joy throughout her life. She had a passion for helping people in need and rescuing animals. She recently set up a Foundation that will continue to carry on that passion of hers. Funeral services will be performed at the Oahu Cemetery on Monday, Nov 13th at 10 am. Visitation will commence at 9:30 am and the ceremony will be at 10 am followed by the burial and refreshments. Memorial donations may be made to the Lila Kawananakoa Foundation. Florence L. K. Kong KeeFlorence Lois Keohokamanu Kong Kee passed away on October 7, 2017, at the age of 55. Flo will be lovingly remembered by her parents John and Lei Kong Kee, siblings Mary Kapanui, Theresa (Marshall) Kong Kee Luke, John Jr. (deceased), William, Sam (Candy), nephews Kolomona (Summer) Kapanui, Kamuela (Hoku) Kapanui, nieces Faith, Sage, grandnephews and grandniece. Growing up in Honolulu, Flo attended St. Patrick School and was a 1980 Punahou graduate. For many years she worked in the tourism and service industry sharing Hawaii's culture and Aloha spirit. Inspired by the late U.S. Representative Patsy Mink, Flo was dedicated to making a difference in people's lives at the policy and government level. Her talent for bringing people together led Flo to work for HSTA, the Democratic Party and UPW. At UPW Flo became a strong voice for Hawaii's working class. Her life's work and passion to improve the lives of the members and their families reached far across the state and nation. Flo served her faith community as a founding member of the St. Augustine Gala Dinner. She helped to raise awareness and funds for the museum honoring Hawaii's local Saints Damien and Marianne. Flo's life was full and large just like her love for her ohana, friends and Hawaii. She'll be fondly remembered for sharing the Aloha spirit through her heartfelt conversations, ono cooking and willingness to kokua. A Celebration of Flo's Life will be held at St. Augustine by-the-sea Catholic Church, 130 Ohua Ave in Waikiki on Saturday, November 18, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 12:00 p.m. Carpooling is highly recommended. Complimentary valet service will be available on Ohua Street with limited parking spaces. Public parking can also be found on nearby streets, the Zoo and Waikiki Shell. Leis and flowers are welcomed.
