Brice Randall Po’aha Gomes
Brice Randall Po'aha Gomes37, passed away on November 12, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. He died at home surrounded by family. Born on August 6, 1980, in Honolulu. He was a 1999 graduate of Punahou School, a 13+ Club and Buff & Blue Lifer. In his younger years, he enjoyed baseball and football. This continued throughout his years at Punahou. Following high school, he attended the University of Northern Colorado and, after one year, his local boy roots pulled him back to Hawaii. He then obtained a degree in Fire Science and pursued his life long dream as a Federal Fire Fighter, a job he loved. He was stationed at Schofield and Wheeler Air Force Base, where he continued to play and enjoy softball (pre-makule style). The loves of Brice's life were his children, Jayda-Ann Kawena, Jocelyn Kaimilani and Jansen Keanu Gomes. He is also survived by companion, Audrey Sueyoshi; her daughter Julia Torres; his father, Randall Gomes; mother, Tekla Lupua (Douglas) Ing; sisters, Larisa Kilinahe and Tara Lani; brother, Kevin Kaiolohia Ing; Aunty Tanya; uncles, and Grannie Gomes. Services for Brice will be held at Punahou's Thurston Chapel on the Punahou campus on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Visitation from 1:00-2:30 with services to follow. A gathering will be held at Dole Hall after the services. Casual attire. Arrangements Provided By: Ultimate Cremation Services
