Chiyeko Hayamoto

Chiyeko HayamotoMrs. Chiyeko (Ogawa) Hayamoto passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 18th, at 97 years of age. She was the daugher of Senjiro and Haru Ogawa. Mrs. Hayamoto was born in Honolulu in 1920. She was the widow of Hiroshi "Raymond" Hayamoto, who built the house above Kaimuki where she lived until her passing. She devoted her professional life to First Hawaiian Bank, and worked at the downtown Honolulu branch until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Hoichi, Jiro, Seiji and Richard Ogawa. She is survived by her sister, Gladys Shigeko Ogawa; her nephews. Michael, Jonathan, Miles, Kenneth, and David Ogawa, and her nieces, Joycelyn (Ogawa) Yee, Claire (Ogawa) Kanoya, Valerie (Ogawa) Frazier, and Lynne Ogawa.
