It is with great sadness that the family of Francis J. Phillips announces his passing into eternal life. Francis a laicized Catholic priest and certified financial planner is survived by his beloved wife Carmelita Dayao-Phillips, daughters Christine Gaughan (Joe), Joanne Osberg (Carl), grandchildren Kayleigh, Clark, Jack, Jason and Declan and sisters Bertha Morreira (Harold), Phyllis Duarte (Tommy), Marilyn Fernandez (Ricky) and Kathleen Rodriguez (Tony). While a priest, Francis served as an Assistant Pastor at St. Theresa's Church, The Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace and the Pastor at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. He continued to serve others and provide guidance as an insurance agent first at Equitable Life and then First Insurance Company of Hawaii and finally as a certified financial planner with EA Buck Companies. Francis' spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of the many people he touched. Please join us for services celebrating his life on Monday December 11th at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Honolulu with visitation starting at 9am and the funeral mass at 11am.
