Henry Yoshio Iwashita, 95, a WWII Army veteran and retired Hawaiian Telephone Company teletype supervisor, died at Hale Kuike in Kaneohe on November 8, 2017. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii. Preceded in death by his loving wife Anne Tsugie Iwashita, he is survived by sons, Jon and Val (Cynthia), three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services were held.
