70, died peacefully at home on Nov. 5, 2017. He graduated from Kailua High School , class of '65 and attended the University of Hawai'i. He was also a Vietnam veteran. Daniel was a partner in Heritage Builders for 20 years and retired from NAVFAC, Pearl Harbor as a carpenter. He travelled extensively during his retirement, especially enjoying Las Vegas, Japan and New Zealand. Survived by wife Sandy M. Arashiro, son Casey Arashiro, daughter Corey Krebs, sisters Sandra H. Arashiro and Aileen Arashiro, niece Jennifer Slaton. Visitation: 5:30 p.m., service 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel. Casual or Aloha attire.

RUBEN (RAYMOND) ARELLIANO79, of Honolulu, a retired Glazier, Passed away peacefully on Oct. 26, 2017 at Kaiser Moanalua Hospital, where he was surrounded by his family. He was born in Lahaina, Maui. There are so many words to describe his wonderful personality, but he was most fulfilled as a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great- grandfather and dear friend. He is survived by his wife, Karen Arelliano and his children - Kaylene Eberman (Bob), Raynette Estores (Shane), Kevin (Cilla), Gavin (Joni), Raylyne Fernandez (Aina), & Chandra Fulgueras (Ramel). He was Blessed with 5 grandchildren- Keesha Gascon (Hinano), Keenan, Presca, Prescious & Shayna Kamana. As well as his 7 great grandchildren. He is survived by his brother George (Marlene), sisters Vicky & Janet. Will remember him for his outgoing personality, wonderful cooking and mostly for his famous Filipino dessert-Cascaron. Visitation: 9:30am; Services: 10:30 am on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel. Burial: 2 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.

ALICE KIM ARMOURJan 26, 1924 - Feb 23, 2017 Alice Kim Armour died peacefully Feb 23, 2017 in Los Alamos, NM, at the age of 93. Alice was born Jan 26, 1924 in Kamuela, HI, on the Parker Ranch. She was one of eight children born to Kim Young Song and Park Pong Nam. She grew up in Honolulu later working for US Army Ordnance during WWII. She met her future husband Wendell G. Armour at a USO dance. Alice and Wendell were married May 1, 1943. MSgt Armour, a decorated veteran (SS, BS, PH) of the US Army Infantry who served in WWII and the Korean War, died Jun 26, 2014 in Los Alamos, NM, at the age of 92. As a military family they moved often and were stationed in Hawaii, New Jersey, Texas, and Taiwan. Wendell retired from the Army after 22 years. He had a second career working for the federal government. Alice and Wendell then followed their children. They lived in Libertyville, ILL, Dallas and San Antonio, TX, and Albuquerque, NM, before settling in Los Alamos, NM, in 2007. Alice is survived by two children: Wayne Armour of Portland, OR, and Irene Powell of Los Alamos, NM. A third child Kendell D. Armour died in 1975. Grandchildren are Lee Powell of Washington, DC, Lauren Heerschap of Lander, WY, and Allison Armour of Portland, OR. Alice enjoyed being with people and talking about her family. Her smile and sense of humor made everyone laugh. Alice loved to read books, play bingo, and watch her favorite TV programs. She was active at her local Senior Center where she had many friends. Alice was much loved and will be missed by all. Alice and Wendell will be together forever with final interment (Military Honors) of their ashes at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl), HI. ALOHA OE!

She is survived by her son Sidney (Gloria "Cookie"), grand- daughters Lisa (Matt Lamon), Sara, Marie, and many nieces and nephews. She worked for many years at the family's grocery store Moiliili Market, Ltd. Thereafter, she worked at the Waikiki Grand and Queen Kapiolani hotels; and, was a sales consultant for Naris Cosmetics until retirement. She is well known for her love of animals, cooking and green thumb. A celebration of life will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary on Friday. January 5, 2018. NOEL D. BIGORNIA BAPTISTASUNRISE: December 11, 1965 SUNSET: October 2, 2017 Born in Waialua, Hawaii. At the Waialua Plantation Hospital. He is the second son of Dionicio Miguel Baptista and Viola Bigornia Baptista. Noel grew up and was raised in Waialua where he went to Waialua Elementary School. The family moved to Pearl City and he went to Manana Elementary School, Pearl City Highlands, and then to Pearl City High School. He worked as a newspaper boy during 1978-1981. After graduation from high school he worked as a gas station attendant at Waimalu Chevron. He then went to work at Au's Plumbing. He enrolled at Leeward Community College and HCC where he studied drafting and graphic arts. Noel then decided to join the Sheet Metal Union, where he landed a job at Master Sheet Metal where he worked for 27 years and became a journeyman with the Local Union 293 until He passed away to be with the Lord. Noel was such a good person to be with, loving, generous, and friendly. He was always trying to make people around him laugh by telling humorous stories and jokes. He also loved to cook and socialize. He loved cars, going to the swap meet to look for deals, and most of all his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Viola, brother Diovi, and his auntie Velma. He is also survived by his aunties, uncles, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and relatives. Visitation for the Celebration of Noel's life will be at Mililani Memorial Park Mauka Chapel on Friday, December 15, 2017. Wake Service will start at 5:30 pm and ends at 9:00 pm. On December 16, 2017, the final viewing will start at 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am until 12:00pm. Burial will be followed at 12:30 pm.
