Jane Miwako (Isoshima) Asher
88, formerly of Honolulu and Kapaa passed away on December 20, 2017. She was born in Honolulu on May 7, 1929. She spent her life as a dedicated wife, mother, educator, and member of the Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Asher; father, Takeo Isoshima; mother, Yoshie (Umeda) Isoshima; and sister, Amy (Isoshima) Kekipi. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Shartzer; son, Greg Asher; brother, Arthur Isoshima; sister Ann (Isoshima) Hanamura; and sister-in-law, Joann (Asher) Cinnamon. She was blessed with three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Kauai at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrew's Priory School in Honolulu.
