LOUISE K. (TRAVIS) FERREIRA Louise K. (Travis) Ferreira was surrounded by her family at home in Las Vegas when she was called to join the Lord on November 20, 2017. She was born on April 29, 1934, in Keaukaha, Hawaii and graduated from Hilo High School in 1954. Her nurturing spirit and endless energy will continue to inspire us, as she always gave and helped others. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Wahiawa Ward. She is preceded in death by her son Wayne Ferreira. Louise is survived by her husband of 62 years, John; children: John (Lisa) Ferreira, Charlene (August) Clark, Debra Nahinu, Lori (Hugh) Mueller, Doree (Michael) Coito, Gary Ferreira, Kathy (John) Asam, Ipolani (Keith) Haina; siblings: Bernice Canon, Ronald Travis, Roberta Ochi, Audrey Pakani, and Herbert (Charlotte) Travis; 29 Grandchildren and 38 Great-Grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Thursday, January 11, at Mililani Memorial Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Visitation from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. Services start at 7:00 pm.. Aloha/casual attire. Burial: 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12th at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
