93, Born in Monticello, N.Y. December 5, 1924 died in Honolulu on December 20, 2017. Married to Ed Sullam, surviving husband, in 1946. Devoted mother to sons, Brian (Susan), Steve (Karen) and Paul. Her interests were broad and varied. She pursued her Interest in city planning by serving on the Honolulu City Planning Commission for four years. Membership in the League of Women Voters for many years helped her pursue her interest in good government. Programs in ceramic art at the Honolulu Museum of Art satisfied her need for creative expression. Finally, wanting to improve the lives of people suffering from serious and persistent mental illness she, with her husband, in 1983, formed NAMI Hawaii. A memorial service will be held at Temple Emanu-El on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
