ANTHONY TIMOTHY “TONY” SHANNON

ANTHONY TIMOTHY 80, of Kailua, Oahu, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Kamuela, Hawaii. Born on October 20, 1937 to Dora Akana, also raised by his Grandmother Marie Elizabeth Estrella. Tony worked as a legal process server and served his Country in the Navy. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Shannon; daughters, Tammy (Rex) Kamakana; Cathy (Dru) Miyata; Jody (Greg) Awana; son, Michael "Akoni" (Ann) Shannon; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Patricia "Pat" Seger, Cynthia Spencer, Marleen Rodrigues-Quiroz, Deborah Y'au, brothers, James "Sparky" Rodrigues, Robert Allan Rodrigues, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was known as "Pappy" to his grandchildren.
