Our beloved mother, Irene Tambaoan Kon, 77, passed away peacefully at home in Kane'ohe after a long battle with cancer on December 26, 2017. She worked at MWR in the food service division for over 25 years. Born in Lihue on January 6, 1940. Moved to Honolulu at age 18. She was survived by her husband of 58 years. Eugene Kon Sr. Sons; Eugene Kon Jr. (Jadelyn), Zachary Kon (Tracie) Daughters; Pamela Kon-Boyle (Peter), Billie Jean Kon-Repollo (Mark). Brother; Henry Tambaoan (deceased), Sister; Emily Tambaoan Huddy (Joshua). Irene has 10 grand- children, and 12 great-grand- children.
