Passed away with family by her side on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home in North Branch, Minnesota. Missy was born October 31, 1949 in La Cross, Wisconsin to parents, the late Byron & Vanda Leland. She attended North Branch Grade School & High School graduating in 1967. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1972 from the University of Minnesota. Missy moved to Hawaii in 1975, here she met and married Robert Gertz in 1981 at the Faith Fellowship Church in Honolulu. She is survived by Robert; sons Adam (Heather) of Roseville, MN, Luke (Ashley) of Lino Lakes, MN, and Benjamin (Ashley) of North Branch, MN; Grandson Atlas Gertz; Brothers Bernie (Karen) Leland and Tom (Marcy) Leland both of Eloy, AZ and Greg (Jeanne) of North Branch, MN. Graveside service will be held on January 20, 2018 at 10:30 am at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Leis Welcome.
