JOHN "BUTCH" CULLEN FERNANDEZ 82, passed away on November 23, 2018 in Marina, California. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and a 1954 graduate of Saint Louis High School, Butch was a retired Army Sgt. Major who served for over 30 years. He served with various Special Forces units and retired as the Post Sgt. Major of Fort Ord. Butch then joined Seaside High School as an instructor for their JROTC program. He was an active member of the Special Forces and Old Soldiers of Hawaii chapters. Preceded in death by son, Bryson (Reiko) Fernandez of Wai'ahole, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Letittia "Lei"; daughters; Dawn (Joe) Camacho, Pat-Lynn "Malia" (Steve) Jaurigue and Letittia "Sukoshi" (Pat) Moana all of California. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister Sylvia "Kina" Fernandez and brother Robert "Bobby" Fernandez. A Memorial Service will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on January 29, 2018. Visitation: 8:30 a.m.; Service: 9:30 a.m.; Inurnment: 11:00 a.m. at Kaneohe State Veterans Cemetery.

Formerly of Kaneohe, HI, passed away on December 5, 2017 at age 93. She was born in Wailuku, HI and was predeceased by her husband Frederick Fuller Sr. She is survived by her sons Frederick Fuller (Debera); Daniel Fuller; and granddaughter Aloha Rocha (Joe). A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Peggy spent 36 years teaching at the elementary, middle and high school levels until her retirement. She adored animals, reading and art were among her many passions. Peggy was a devoted, caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. A private family visitation occurred at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home, December 21, 2017 followed by cremation. Interment will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery May 21, 2018 at 3pm.

CHRISTY CHRIS JOE MCPHEE 65, former resident of Kailua, finally & peacefully lost his battle with cancer on August 24, 2017 at his home in Tonasket, WA. His wife, Alvera "Ali" Graham, was by his side. Chris was lucky enough to find pride in & joy with two families. He is survived by his first wife, Malexi McPhee, the mother of his children: Christy "Melody" (Brandon) Sherman, Angelica E. McPhee & Duncan A. W. McPhee. Ali Graham, his wife of five years, also survives him as do her children: Shannon Hillbom, Nadene (Robert) Casorso, & Crystal Ennes. Chris is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren & three sisters: Jackie (Steve) Root, Jonny (Franny) McPhee & Robin (Bob) Albright, as well as two loving nephews. Chris's body was cremated & a celebration of life service will be held in Kelowna, BC in the summer of 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Boy Scouts of America in Chris' name.
