August 22, 1924 - January 10, 2018. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great- Grandmother, Aunt, and friend. Ethel had various responsibilities in the workforce, however her greatest responsibility and one that she is very influential for was being a terrific Mother of 6 children and the best Grand- mother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband Tokio Imamura, Daughters Sue Clevenger, Lani Imamura, and Grand Daughter Donna Thornely. Ethel is survived by her sons Jan Imamura (Colleen) and Robin Imamura. Daughters Darlene Nakago (Francis "Tsuny"), and Marjorie Nishimura. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Services will be held Sunday February 18, 2018 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. services to follow at 4:00 p.m. Private burial ceremony at a later date. The family kindly request no flowers and casual attire.
