Age 83, passed away at Providence St John's Health Center in Santa Monica on December 25, 2017. Born in Arcadia, CA, Edward lived in Honolulu, HI for 30 years before returning to Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his sister, Grace Kitaoka. Edward was predeceased by wife, Karen. Services were held at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple on January 31, 2018. Interment will be held on February 20, 2018, at 2 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii.
