27, of Kailua was called home to Heaven on January 5, 2018. Kauakea graduated from Ke Kula 'o Samuel M. Kamakau in 2008. He attended college at Oregon State University, where he was a member of the football team. He transferred to UH Manoa during 2012-2013 and earned a Bachelor's Degree. He was a UPS driver and a member of the men's Hula Halau 'Ohi'akuapa'a. Born of the sea, his favorite 'olelo no'eau was "He lawai'a no ke kai hohonu", which literally means a fisherman of the deep sea. This is where he had a passion for fishing with his grandfather. Kauakea was survived by his Daughter Kauanoe P.H. Olds, Girlfriend Pulama M. Goodhue; Parents Vince K. Olds and Sal Mapuana Olds; brothers Teawe K. Olds and 'Onipa'a O. Olds; Grandparents Kenneth T. Olds and Haunani I. Olds, Salvatore K. Jordano Sr. And Gurdy A.K. Machado; and his many Uncles, Aunties, and Cousins. Celebration of his life is on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 1-6pm at Kokokahi YWCA 45-035 Kaneohe Bay Dr, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744
