98, of Honolulu died January 6, 2018. He was son of Ryoichi and Kamata Kuwaye. He was predeceased by wife, Barbara, and siblings Edith (Joseph Frank) Poole, Alvin (Flora), Kathryn (Patrick) Lee, Harrison, and survived by siblings Satoru (Toshie), James, Richard, and Betsy (Clarence) Saito. He is survived by children Paul, Susan, Beverly Kuwaye and Charlene (Rod) Higuchi and grandchildren Jeffery, Stephanie Kuwaye, Naomi (Seth) Carter, and Jennifer, Jonathan, Jeremy Higuchi as well as 6 great-grandchildren. Service will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Hosoi Mortuary, with visitation at 9:00am. Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe.
