Jane Breimon

Jane BreimonBeloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018, in her home in Kailua. Jane was born on October 1, 1920, in Portland, Oregon. In her childhood, she brought joy to family and friends and discovered a great love for animals. As a young adult, Jane worked for Kaiser Shipbuilding Company as an office manager. In 1946, Jane married Clarence Breimon and they had three beautiful children: Joy, Roy, and Jon. After raising her children, Jane traveled the world, realized a passion for painting, and finally settled in Hawaii. Jane spent her final years in Kailua with her son Jon, his wife Zeny, her granddaughters, May and Anna, and her faithful friend Oliver (dog). She loved to go shopping at Macy's and have lunch with her family at Cinnamon's and Zippy's. Jane was a kindhearted woman who lived her life with integrity. She knew how to find joy and beauty in every moment she was given and she touched many hearts throughout her lifetime. Jane is survived by her son, Jon Breimon; her grandchildren, May Breimon, Anna Breimon, and Paul Christensen; her great grand- children, Joseph Christensen, Paula Christensen, and Aren Christensen; and her sister Shirley Eisleben. A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her church: Kailua Assembly of God - 669 Iliaina Street, Kailua, HI 96734 Viewing: 10:30 am; Service: 11:30 am; Fellowship: 12:30 pm

95, of Waialua passed away peacefully on December 29, 2017. She was born in Wailuku, Maui on March 31, 1922, and was an active member of the Waialua Hongwanji Mission and the Central Oahu Kumamoto Kenjin Kai. She was preceded in death by husband Tadashi Matsumoto and daughter Yvonne Fong. She is survived by son, Clyde (Annette) Matsumoto, daughters Allison Matsumoto and Lois (Kevin) Kiyonaga, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sisters Jeanette Kawakami, Mildred Sakamoto, and Lilian (Dr. James) Matayoshi. Private services were held. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity or the Waialua Hongwanji.
