Survived by daughters, Carrie Akamine and Sandi (Brian) Yamagata; 5 grand- children, Caitlyn, Enzo, Keijiro, Taizo and Kaimana; mother, Clara Wakuzawa; siblings, Portia, Lawson (Yasuko) and Wesley (Geraldine) Wakuzawa; nieces and nephews.
