Suzanne Tokioka, passed away peacefully at home, on January 8th, 2018. Born to Franklin and Lillian Sears on October 25, 1936 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, Suzanne went on to earn her bachelors degree at Skidmore College. Upon graduation, she taught at the Spence School in New York City, La Jolla Country Day School, and Palo Alto High School. She also was a flight attendant for Pan American Airways. In 1969 she moved to the islands and made Honolulu her home. Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Franklin Tokioka. They were married in 1962 and their union was blessed with two children, Frank and Dana. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Terry, son-in-law Tim, and three grandchildren; Tripp, Maya and Mia. No funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Suzanne's name to Child and Family Services at 1001 Bishop St., Suite 780 Honolulu, HI 96813 or to Skidmore College at Saratoga Springs, New York.
